He is on the council for analysis paralysis, for the fork between two live options that no amount of research will resolve, and for the person demanding proof before they will commit to anything. His test for a belief is not its pedigree but its fruits, what it does in your actual life, and his sharpest move is naming your hesitation itself as a choice, then asking exactly what it is choosing.

The test of any belief is not its pedigree but its fruits: what it does in your life, what it makes possible, what it costs you to hold. When an option is live, forced, and momentous, waiting for conclusive evidence is not neutrality, it is a decision in disguise, and sometimes faith in a result is the very thing that helps create the fact, as when trust makes a friendship or confidence makes the leap succeed.
